Ketubah commissions during the pandemic:
KG makes that one less thing to worry about
Dear Visitors,
I hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe.
My heart goes out to all the couples whose wedding plans have been disrupted because of the pandemic. You may have had to postpone, cancel or reduce wedding plans or other celebratory gatherings for the time being.
I know you are still going to have a very special wedding! And for that wedding, you are going to need an equally special ketubah.
I am here to make the ordering of your ketubah a meaningful and fun experience, and your ketubah itself a perfect testament to your unique union. Flexibility is in full swing here at the Ketubah Graphia studio as I am consulting and working with couples during this time of uncertainty.
Here are a few of the ways we can work together:
Video consultations: Let’s have a ketubah Zoom! While I love having couples over to my home studio for in-person design consultations, right now the KG virtual studio is the next best thing. I’m available for quick check-ins or hourly chats.
Ink and paper samples via mail: Ask me for a sample of the ink colors you’re considering! You can get up close and personal with a sample sent on the same archival paper I use for ketubahs to make your final decisions.
Dates or locations left blank until confirmed: You do not need to have a confirmed date or location for your wedding to get started on a ketubah! We can work around uncertainty by leaving personalization sections blank until a new date and location is confirmed. In the meantime I can work on all the other elements of your ketubah.
No penalties for postponements: You will not be charged for changing the date or location of your wedding! If you pay for a ketubah but have to postpone and I have not yet hand-lettered the date and location, I will work with you to complete your order for whenever you need it. Likewise, if you have to cancel your wedding and the creation of your ketubah has not yet started, you’ll receive a full refund.
Special gifts for special guests: Honor the special people in your life with custom, handwritten gifts! Whether you are having a small intimate ceremony with your nearest and dearest, getting married on Zoom with family and friends in virtual attendance, or have other creative plans, gifts for parents and grandparents or siblings or dearest friends can be created using the same paper and ink as your ketubah. Inquire for more specifics and pricing.
I will help you make your ketubah—which is a testament to your union and will become an instant heirloom—
a special work of art and a special experience.
Please reach out, book a time to find out more information or discuss a commission, and most importantly: please stay well!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Warmest regards,
Aliza
